Rupina La Pass is situated in lower Manaslu and off-the-beaten route offers the highest elevation of 4,720 meters on this trip. This is an adventure trek in and of itself, with the combined most popular Larkya La pass (5,160 m). It is a mixture of mountain scenery, natural beauty, and unique culture with historical dignity. Rupina La Pass trek officially opened for trekkers in 1991.
After the construction of the motorable road at Annapurna, Rupina La Pass gained popularity. The trip starts at Barpak, about a ten-hour drive from Kathmandu through the Trishuli river bank. Or drive 144 km from Kathmandu to historical Gorkha, the headquarters of Gorkha district. Then you will walk to Barpak Village, It is an idle trip for every visitor, such as students, researchers, culture seekers, and mountain lovers.

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu [1,330 m]:
Upon your arrival, a representative from Nepal Sherpa Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival, plans will be made for a briefing meeting once you have settled in.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for the trek
Today, you will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Barpak 1310m
Early morning a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha, a journey of approximately 5 hours and continue the adventure with another drive to Baprak, where you’ll stay in a comfortable lodge, surrounded by the natural beauty of the region.
Day 04: Nirtse Kharka 3430m
Start trek from Baprak to Nirtse Kharka, a journey that offers stunning landscapes and a chance to experience the local culture. Spend the night in tents, submerging yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 05: Nirtse Kharka to Rupina La Phedi 4020m
Continue your trek from Nirtse Kharka to Rupina La Phedi, enjoying the breathtaking scenery along the way. Set up camp for the night, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Day 06: Trek to Meme Kharka via Rupina La Pass (4640m)
Today’s adventure takes you over the Rupina La Pass (4640m) as you trek from Rupina La Phedi to Meme Kharka. Revel in the challenge and the panoramic views before settling into your tent for the night.
Day 07: Gai Kharka to Nayck 2300m
Your trek to Nayck a picturesque location where you’ll overnight in a comfortable lodge. Enjoy the warmth of local hospitality and immerse yourself in the cultural richness of the area.
Day 09: Trek to Jagat 1,410m
Today trek on a 6-hour to Jagat, where you’ll experience the charm of a traditional Nepalese homestay. Interact with locals, savor traditional cuisine, and gain insights into the daily life of the community.
Day 10: Trek to Maccha Khola 900m
Continue your trek to Maccha Khola, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours. Check into a cozy lodge for a well-deserved rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 11: Trek to Maccha Khola 900m
Embark on a 7-8-hour drive back to Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Accommodation is arranged on a BB plan.
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu, back to the capital city with private car or tourist coach.
Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you’ll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.
