Personalized adventures
This is a relatively easy trek and a wonderful introduction to the Annapurna mountain region starting in Pokhara, on the shores of picturesque Lake Phewa. The trek heads southwest, then loops north into the Annapurna Conservation Area through subtropical valleys and rice fields to high ridges of rhododendron forest. The Panchase area is known for a wide variety of birds and animals. The trek takes you off the beaten track and offers a chance to explore the many cultures in the area, including Brahmin, Magar, and Gurung.

Ready-to-book adventures
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu [1,330 m]:
Upon your arrival, a representative from Nepal Sherpa Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival, plans will be made for a briefing meeting once you have settled in.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for the trek
Today, you will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.
Day 03: Drive/Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Duration will depend on the choice of private vehicle (approximately 7 hours with breaks) or by flight (20 minutes). Arrive Pokhara lakeside and transfer to hotel. Depending on arrival time, opportunity to explore surrounding areas. We will stay overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara to Bhumdi (1520m)
Well, today, we will drive to Thado Khola passing beautiful Davis Falls on the way. We then will trek to Bhumdi through lush forest teeming with interesting flora and fauna. Our trail starts us a long staircase to a ridge dropping own to Bhumdi. We will stay overnight in Bhumdi.
Day 05: Bhumdi to Panchse Bhanjyang (2030m)
If the weather is fair, we will have more opportunities to view the beautiful mountains along the trail. Our trek today will take us up through the forest and then on to Bhanjyang which is a small settlement at the foot of Panchase. We will stay overnight at Panchase Bhanjyang.
Day 06: Panchase Bhanjyang to Panchase Peak to Chitre (1400m)
Today we will hike to Panchase Hill summit at the altitude of 2500m and enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna Peaks and other mountains including Manaslu and Dhaulagiri. Then, we trek uphill steeply through the sparse forests and pastures to Chitre for our overnight stay.
Day 07: Chitre to Matathanti (1200m)
We will trek through the scattered villages to the Village of Matathanti and we will stay there overnight.
Day 08: Trek from Matathanti to Ghandruk (1940m)
We will have an easy walk today before an ascent to Ghandruk which is the largest Gurung village in the region. We will stay overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 09: Rest Day at Ghandruk
We will take rest at Ghandruk today and explore around the area to enjoy the scenic beauty. We will stay overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 10 Ghandruk to Pokhara (1150m)
Today, we will start off downhill to Modi Khola, crossing on a suspension bridge. Our trail turns uphill to Landrung village where Machhapuchhre and Annapurna are visible from the trail. We walk uphill through the woodlands of Deurali and then gradually downhill to Pothana where will stay overnight.
Day 11: Drive/Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today, we will catch our early morning returning flight to Kathmandu. The flight takes about 20 minutes to reach Kathmandu. Or we can take a drive to Kathmandu which takes around 7-8 hours. At the remaining time, you can explore the Kathmandu city or you can go for shopping. In the evening, we will celebrate the farewell dinner with our trekking crew.
Day 12: Final Departure
You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We will transfer you to the airport for your returning flight.
