Ganga Jamuna trek is in Dhading district and it is less visited area and newly opened trek in Nepal. This is a moderate trek trail offer a chance to see Nepali lifestyle, culture and tradition. It passes different villages where you can witness different ethnic groups such as Tamang, Gurung, Brahmin, Chhetri and few others of Nepal. The mountain peaks you can see area Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, Manaslu Range, Lamjung Himal, Himalchuli, Annapurna Range and many other unnamed mountains and peaks.

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu [1,330 m]:
Upon your arrival, a representative from Nepal Sherpa Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival, plans will be made for a briefing meeting once you have settled in.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for the trek
Today, you will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Dhading Besi and Trek to Jyamrung Danda (1350 m).
You can take a bus or hire a private vehicle to get there which takes about 3 hours. Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic countryside and small towns. Once you arrive in Dhading Besi, you can take a short break to stretch your legs and grab a bite to eat before beginning your trek. The trek from Dhading Besi to Jyamrung Danda is a moderate hike that takes around 4-5 hours. The trail passes through lush forests and traditional Nepali villages, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The elevation gain is gradual, but there are some steeper sections along the way.
Jyamrung Danda is a small village situated on a hilltop at an elevation of 1350m. It’s a peaceful place with stunning views of the Ganesh Himal range. You can spend the night in a homestay or guesthouse, enjoying traditional Nepali hospitality and cuisine.
Day 04: Jyamrung Danda to Karki Gaon (1225 m).
The trek from Jyamrung Danda to Karki Gaon is a moderate hike that takes around 5-6 hours. The trail descends through beautiful forests, river Aakhu khola and terraced fields, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The terrain is mostly downhill, but there are some uphill sections as well.
Karki Gaon is a small village situated at an elevation of 1225m. It’s a peaceful place with traditional Nepali houses and a friendly local community. You can spend the night in a homestay or guesthouse, enjoying traditional Nepali hospitality and cuisine. Take some time to explore the village and interact with the locals to learn more about their way of life.
Day 05: Karki Gaon to Ganga Jamuna (3244 m).
The trek from Karki Gaon to Ganga Jamuna is a challenging hike that takes around 5-6 hours. The trail climbs steadily through beautiful forests and terraced fields, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The terrain is mostly uphill, with some steep and rocky sections.
Day 06: Rest day at Ganga Jamuna & Explore the local village (3244m).

Ganga Jamuna is a beautiful waterfall with multiple tiers and pools. Take some time to explore the area around the waterfall and enjoy the stunning views.
Day 07: Ganga Jamuna to Budathum (850 m).
The trek from Ganga Jamuna to Budathum is a downhill hike that takes around 5-6 hours. The trail descends through beautiful forests and terraced fields, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The terrain is mostly downhill, but there are some uphill sections as well. Budathum is a small village situated at an elevation of 850m. It’s a peaceful place with traditional Nepali houses and a friendly local community .
Day 08: Budathum to Arughat Bazaar (500m) & drive to Kathmandu.
The trek from Budathum to Arughat Bazaar takes around 3-4 hours and is a relatively easy downhill hike. The trail descends through terraced fields and small villages, offering a glimpse into the rural way of life in Nepal. Arughat Bazaar is a small town situated at an elevation of 500m, and it’s a bustling hub of commerce and activity. Once you reach Arughat Bazaar, you’ll take a 3-4 hour drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 09: Departure to Kathmandu Airport.
A representative from Nepal Sherpa Treks will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
