Mingmar Lama Sherpa born in a small village in the Everest region is a travel expert, specialty tour operator, and co-owner of Nepal Sherpa Treks Pvt. Ltd. He has spent most of her life traversing through out Nepal Tibet, Bhutan and many countries before and after he established Nepal Sherpa Treks more than two decades ago.

Mingmar has been genuinely involved in arranging our fantastic travel deals. In crafting our packages and itineraries, he considers every detail of travel from selecting hotel to planning events and attractions travelers won’t want to miss. He also tries to include opportunities for clients to give something back to the community in the area they visit through various initiatives rural families with basic needs.

He has involved in many different social activities in his hometown and other areas primarily with school, clinic and support livelihood of the community. He holds certified trekking/rafting guide license and also involved in several training with safety issue, sustainable tourism and ecotourism in Nepal and Europe.

Mingmar is a lead guide among trekking guides in Nepal. He has traveled extensively to countries like USA, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Singapore, Malaysia and various Asian countries. His travel experiences have provided him with valuable insights into different cultures, lifestyles, and visitor expectations during their holidays in Nepal.
