Village Tourism

Village tourism in Nepal is fair new concept, which makes the trek more distinctive and unique experience as people are generally friendly and adopted instinct to respect tourists and visitors. Therefore, many villages have been specified as true destination according to surrounding environment attractive features of the villages. Villages with a few guest room and kitchen are developed. Visitors can stay with the local people, feel there simplicity and watch their way of living. You may often participate their jobs and experience rural life. You may feel inconvenient, but the true sprit of visiting rural society, lies in doing what locals do. In village tourism all activities are concerned with village. The food you eat is produced in their field.

Villagers perform various programs in group for entertainment. They usually depict local culture and customs. Since everything you are offered are local and services are being produced among the local community, a large amount of your trip expense stays in the village.

Ghale Gaun Trek

A trek to village of Ghale(or Gurung) trek is unexplored area area, which is developed under new concept of tourism. The area focused historical, biological and cultural conservation, The area is located in the district of Lamjung at the altitude of 2016m which also part of Annapurna Conservation Area Project. Ghale Gaun is approximately 205km North West of Kathmandu and 12.5 km north east of Pokhara. The trek provide you the opportunity learn the culture value of Gurung people and their way of life you also enjoy the mountain views of Annapurna II, Manaslu, Fish Tail, Lamjung Himal etc.

Detail Itinerary:
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel,
Day 02 Full day K athmandu valley sightseeing by private Car/Van, overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 Drive to trailhead Bensisahar (760m) - Khudi (790m)
Day 04 Khudi - Ghalegaun
Day 05 Ghalegaun exploration day
Day 06 Ghalegaun - Baghungpani (1595)
Day 07 Baglungpani (1595m) - laxmi Bazar
Day 08 Laxmi Bazar - Begnas Lake & drive back to Pokhara
Day 09 Drive back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Transfer to airport for your onward destination.


Chepang Village Trek

Trek area involves of 3 hours of driving from Kathmandu and is one of the fascinating trek for the scenery and to experience rural life of Chepavg people of Nepal. Chepang is an endangered ethnic group of people, who live by hunting, fishing, small agriculture and gathering jungle products. They are partly nomads and speak their own Language. Some Families Keep goats. Their forests are not spoilt and our camping spots often give beautiful views all around. The trek offers an extraordinary views of Himalayas to the north (Dhaulagiri (8167M) To Kanchenjunga (8596M) and Green and flat land to the south. The trekking passes a variety of landscapes and you will be produced to the inhabitants by means of their songs, dances, hospitality and craftsmanship: they produce among others wine and honey.

Detail Itinerary :
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel, overnight at Hotel on B/B basis.
Day 02 Sight seeing of Kathmandu by Car/Van, overnight at Hotel On B/B basis.
Day 03 Kathmandu to Hungdi- (309m) by bus from Kathmandu it is around 80-k.m drive, around 4 to 5 hours.
Day 04 Hungdi to Hatti bag (1410m), around 4 to 5 hours
Day 05 Hatti bang to Jyandala (1600m)- walk around 4 to 5 hours.
Day 06 Jyandala to Upperdangadhi (1275m) walk around 6 hours.
Day 07 Upperdangdhi to Saktikhor (355m). Walk around 6 Hour
Day 08 Saktikhor to Siddhikhor (401m)- walk around 4 to 5 hour
Day 09 Siddhaikhor to korak (435m) walk around 4 to 5 hour
Day 10 Korak to Saktikhor (355M) walk around 5 to 6 hour
Day 11 Saktikhor back to Kathmandu by bus. Around 6/7 hours drive./ Chitwan
Day 12 Leisure Day in Kathmandu, farewell in the evening.
Day 13 Transfer to airport for your onward destination.
